This $1.9 million project replaced the Route 311 Bridge over Meadow Creek in Craig County. The bridge is located approximately 0.6 mile from the intersection of Route 311 and Route 42 in New Castle.
Work to replace the bridge began in February 2022 with traffic across the bridge reduced to one lane on the southbound side.
The new structure was completed in Spring 2023. A.R. Coffey and Sons from Buchanan was the contractor.
