SLOPE REPAIR WORK RESCHEDULED FOR BRIERY BRANCH ROAD IN GEORGE WASHINGTON NATIONAL FOREST
STAUNTON – Slope repairs Route 924 (Briery Branch Road) in the Rockingham County portion of the George Washington National Forest have been rescheduled. The repairs will begin on Monday, October 24 with completion by Wednesday, November 2.
The Virginia Department of Transportation will close this portion of Route 924 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily (remaining open on Sunday) until repairs are complete
Work materials and vehicles will also be active in the area of the Briery Branch Reservoir in addition to the slope failure site.
All work is weather permitting.
