EXPECT DELAYS MONDAY MORNING ON NORTHBOUND I-81 IN AUGUSTA COUNTY

STAUNTON – (6:45 a.m.)  A tractor trailer crash has blocked the right lane of northbound Interstate 81 near mile marker 232 in Augusta County. The location is between exit 227 (Verona) and exit 235 (Weyers Cave/Grottoes). Delays are currently about 2.5 miles.

The northbound right lane is expected to remain closed through mid-morning due to cleanup and vehicle recovery efforts. Motorists should expect related delays on Route 11 north of Staunton.
