I-81 OVERNIGHT RAMP CLOSURE JULY 11 AT EXIT 251 IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
STAUNTON – The off-ramp from southbound Interstate 81 to Route 11 (North Valley Pike) at exit 251 (Harrisonburg) in Rockingham County is scheduled to be closed for a single night this week for repaving. The closure is from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 11, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 12. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists who need to reach Route 11 from southbound I-81 will be detoured at Exit 257 (Mauzy/Broadway). At the end of the off-ramp motorists will turn left on Route 259 (Mayland Road) and then right on southbound Route 11. Signs and variable message boards along I-81 will alert drivers to the detour route.
