TRAFFIC ALERT: INTERSTATE 81 RAMP CLOSURES TO ROUTE 8 SCHEDULED NEXT WEEK FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY
SALEM – As work continues on the I-81 project at exit 114 and Route 8, ramp closures have been scheduled next week for paving operations, weather permitting.
Beginning Monday, August 2 through August 6, the I-81 southbound exit 114 ramp will be closed during nighttime hours from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning for a pipe replacement.
Message boards will be in place to provide updated information and a reduced speed limit of 60 mph is in place within the work zone.
Drivers may experience delays in the area and should use caution in the work zone.
