DETOUR ON ROUTE 11 SCHEDULED TO BEGIN THIS AFTERNOON IN DOWNTOWN DUBLIN AREA OF PULASKI COUNTY

SALEM – As part of the Route 100 bridge project over Route 11 in Pulaski County, a road closure has become necessary due to the demolition of the old bridge on Route 100.

Effective this afternoon at approximately 3 p.m., southbound Route 11 in downtown Dublin will be closed and a detour will be in place. Drivers should follow the signs and be aware of message board notifications in the area.  

DETOUR

Cars traveling from southbound Route 11 may use Giles Avenue to West Main Street to Newbern Street to Hawkins Street to return to Route 11.

Trucks and tractor-trailers traveling from southbound Route 11 may use Route 100 northbound to Route 373 to return to Route 11.

The road is expected to re-open on January 9 at 3 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays in this area and allow for extra travel time to arrive at their destination.
