SECTION OF BEAVER DAM ROAD (ROUTE 715) CLOSING FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT IN HANOVER COUNTY
The project is expected to be complete in late 2021
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Beaver Dam Road (Route 715) over Newfound River in Hanover County for a bridge replacement project starting Tuesday, April 6. The closure is located between Connie Hall Road (Route 781) and Old Ridge Road (Route 631).
The existing structure was constructed in 1959. Weather permitting, the bridge replacement project is expected to be complete in late 2021.
The following detour route will be in place:
Beaver Dam Rd. (Rt. 715) north: Take Connie Hall Rd. (Rt. 781) east to Woodman Hall Rd. (Rt. 674) north to Old Ridge Rd. (Rt. 631) west back to Beaver Dam Rd.
Beaver Dam Rd. (Rt. 715) south: Take Old Ridge Rd. (Rt. 631) east to Woodman Hall Rd. (Rt. 674) south to Connie Hall Rd. (Rt. 781) west back to Beaver Dam Rd.
The estimated cost of the project is $1.2 million.
