VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON SKIPWITH ROAD (ROUTE 7667) AND PEMBERTON ROAD (ROUTE 157) BRIDGE REHABILITATIONS IN HENRICO
Public invited to learn more about proposed bridge rehabilitation projects on January 23

SOUTH CHESTERFIELDThe Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on bridge rehabilitation projects proposed for Skipwith Road (Route 7667) and Pemberton Road (Route 157) in Henrico County. The primary purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the Skipwith and Pemberton Road bridges over I-64 in Henrico County to extend their service life. The bridge decks will be replaced on both roads.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Gayton – Henrico County Public Library, located at 10600 Gayton Road, Henrico, VA 23838. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.

Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until February 2 by mailing them to Anthony Haverly, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to anthony.haverly@vdot.virginia.gov. Please reference “Skipwith Road and Pemberton Road bridge rehabilitation” in the subject line.
