SECTION OF INDIAN OAK ROAD (ROUTE 618) CLOSING FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT IN NOTTOWAY COUNTY
Expected completion date set for November 2021
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Indian Oak Road (Route 618) over Deep Creek in Nottoway County for a bridge replacement project, starting Monday, Dec. 21.
The project is expected to be complete in early November 2021.
The following detour route will be in place:
Indian Oak Rd. (Rt. 618) east: Take Indian Oak Rd. to Winningham Rd. (Rt. 617) north to Turkey Island Rd. (Rt. 613) south back to Indian Oak Rd.
Indian Oak Rd. (Rt. 618) west: Take Indian Oak Rd. to Turkey Island Rd. (Rt. 613) north to Winningham Rd. (Rt. 613) south back to Indian Oak Rd.
The estimated cost of the project is $2.5 million.
