VDOT TO HOLD CITIZEN INFORMATION MEETING FOR ROUTE 58 STUDY IN BRUNSWICK AND MECKLENBURG COUNTIES, TOWN OF SOUTH HILL
Public invited to learn more about developed study concepts on September 4
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a citizen information meeting to share additional concepts and strategies for potential corridor improvements along Route 58 in Brunswick and Mecklenburg counties and the Town of South Hill as part of the Route 58 Arterial Preservation Plan.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 4 from 5-7 p.m. at the Southside Planning District Commission Building, 200 S. Mecklenburg Ave., South Hill, VA 23970. There will be a short presentation at the beginning of the meeting followed by an interactive discussion.
Comments about the study may be submitted at the meeting or until September 14 by mailing them to Desmond Smallwood, planning manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. You may also email your comments to desmond.smallwood@vdot.virginia.gov. Please reference “US Route 58 Corridor Study” in the subject line.
