UPDATE (9/26/2023): The following ramp closure has been added to this week's schedule:

Wednesday night, September 27
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 29 South Centreville
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for light pole work. Traffic will be directed to Route 29 North, travel to the second traffic signal at Centrewood Drive/Trinity Parkway and make a U-turn onto Route 29 South.

FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours at the following I-66 interchanges as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Sunday, September 24; Friday, September 29; and Saturday, September 30
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed on multiple nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for drainage work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, then follow signs to I-66 West.

Monday, September 25, and Thursday, September 28
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 West
The ramp will be closed both nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Traffic will be detoured farther east to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road), stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 123 North, stay to the right to I-66 West, and then follow signs to Route 50 West.

Monday, September 25
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 28 North
Ramp from I-66 West to Braddock Road/Walney Road
The ramps will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Traffic will be detoured to Route 28 South, exit to Route 29 North, then stay to the right and follow signs to Route 28 North. Drivers headed to Braddock Road/Walney Road will stay left and follow signs to that exit. 

Monday, September 25, and Tuesday, September 26
Ramp from Route 50 East to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed both nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for installation of light poles. Traffic will be directed to continue farther east, stay to the left and use the left-most left turn lane to make a U-turn at the traffic signal at Waples Mill Road onto Route 50 West, then stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 West. 

Tuesday, September 26 
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 28 South
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Traffic will be detoured farther west to Route 29 Centreville, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 29 North, then follow signs to Route 28 South.

Tuesday, September 26 
Ramp from Route 28 South to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be detoured farther south to Route 29 North, stay right to Route 28 North, then follow signs to I-66 East.

Friday, September 29
Ramp from Nutley Street North to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north, stay to the left and take the roundabout to Nutley Street South, then follow signs to I-66 East.
