ARLINGTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public information meeting Tuesday, June 28 on plans to rehabilitate the 21st Street North bridge over I-66 to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians and extend the overall life of the bridge. • Replacing bearings

The width of the existing lanes and sidewalks on the bridge will remain the same.

The bridge carries about 1,400 vehicles a day.

The project is financed with federal and state funding, including State of Good Repair funds used for bridges.
