Overnight Closure of the Ramps from I-66 East to Nutley Street Planned Tonight, Thursday, July 21, for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project
FAIRFAX – The ramps from I-66 East to Nutley Street North and South will be closed tonight, Thursday, July 21, from midnight to 4 a.m. for paving. Traffic will be detoured farther east to I-495 North, travel north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, exit to I-66 West, then follow signs to Nutley Street North or South. As an alternative, drivers may also exit prior to the closure at Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) to reach their destinations. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
