Fairfax Station Road Daytime Closures at Colchester Road in Clifton June 27-30
Update: The stormwater pipe replacement closures have been rescheduled for June 28-30 due to weather


Update: Due to weather, the closures have been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 28 through Thursday, June 30 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.


CLIFTON
– Fairfax Station Road (Route 660) will be closed at Colchester Road (Route 612), weather permitting, Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Fairfax Station Road during the closures will have access; however, traffic will only be able to access the road from Route 123 (Ox Road).

Traffic will be detoured via Colchester Road, Popes Head Road (Route 654) and Route 123 back to Fairfax Station Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to use caution when traveling in active work zones. Be alert to new traffic patterns and limit distractions.
