Meadowlark Drive Closed in Hamilton April 8-9
Detour in place during stormwater pipe work
HAMILTON – Meadowlark Drive (Route 800) between Irene Road (Route 706) and the western intersection of Quail Creek Circle will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. Thursday, April 8 to 4 a.m. Friday, April 9 for urgent stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. The closure is needed due to recent weather.
Those needing to reach properties along Meadowlark Drive will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Irene Road, Hamilton Station Road (Route 704), Route 7 (Harry Byrd Highway), Route 9 (Charles Town Pike) and Simpson Circle (Route 662) back to Meadowlark Drive.
