Hamilton Station Road Daytime Closures Aug. 2-5
Detour in place during stormwater pipe replacement
HAMILTON – Hamilton Station Road (Route 704) between Route 7 Business (Colonial Highway) and Route 7 (Harry Byrd Highway) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, Aug. 2 through Thursday, Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Hamilton Station Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Route 7, Route 287 (Berlin Turnpike) and Route 7 Business back to Hamilton Station Road.
