Whitting Drive Closed in Manassas July 30-31
Detour in place during stormwater pipe work
Update: Work was completed and Whitting Drive reopened Thursday evening, July 30.
MANASSAS – Whitting Drive will be closed at the western end of the intersection of Canova Drive (weather permitting) from 9 a.m. Thursday morning, July 30 to 10 p.m. Friday night, July 31 to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Through traffic and those needing to reach properties on Whitting Drive between the intersection and Counselor Road will be detoured via Whitting Drive, Route 234 (Dumfries Road) and Counselor Road back to Whitting Drive.
