Single-Lane Closures on Cedar Lane at I-66 For Extended Daytime Hours on Weekdays Begin March 23, Continue Into April
FAIRFAX – Daily lane closures on Cedar Lane near I-66 will have extended hours beginning Monday, March 23, and continuing for approximately three weeks. Weekday lane closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rather than the usual 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). Traffic on Cedar Lane between Hilltop Drive and Cottage Street will be controlled by flaggers alternating direction of travel.
The closure is needed for utility crews to perform underground waterline relocation as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
