Wednesday, Aug. 19 Update: Due to weather, this work has been extended per the following schedule:

• Left Lane Closed: Wednesday night, Aug. 19 and Thursday night, Aug. 20 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning
• Right Lane Closed: Sunday night, Aug. 23 through Thursday night, Aug. 27 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning. 

LEESBURG – The eastbound Route 7 Bypass bridge over Route 15/Business Route 15 (South King Street) will have nighttime single-lane closures (weather permitting) Sunday night, Aug. 9 through Thursday night, Aug. 13, and Sunday night, Aug. 16 through Thursday night, Aug. 20 for bridge repair work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The work will occur according to the following schedule:

• Left Lane Closed: Sunday night, Aug. 9 through Thursday night, Aug. 13 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning
• Right Lane Closed: Sunday night, Aug. 16 through Thursday night, Aug. 20 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.                                    

Drivers can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
