Right Lane on I-395 South to Close between Duke Street in Alexandria and Edsall Road in Springfield Thursday Afternoon, July 9
ALEXANDRIA - The right lane of southbound I-395 will be closed between Duke Street and Edsall Road Thursday, July 9 from approximately 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The closure is needed for crews to conduct repair work on the 395 Express Lanes slip ramp. Motorists are asked to remain alert and watch for construction crews in the area.
Work crews are following the most recent guidance from the federal and state government and are committed to the health and safety of all those who work and interact with the construction operation.
The eight-mile 395 Express Lanes opened on Nov. 17, 2019 and connect the 95 Express Lanes to Washington, D.C. Learn how the lanes work and plan your trip at www.ExpressLanes.com.
The 395 Express Lanes are a public-private partnership between the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Transurban. See more details on the project and related lane closures.
