Pipe Installation along Featherbed Lane in Manassas Dec. 1-3
Drivers asked to follow posted detours during daytime road closures
MANASSAS – Featherbed Lane between Route 29 and Route 234 will be closed to through traffic (weather permitting) Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 3 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day to install stormwater pipes and ditching, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties along Featherbed Lane will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe installation in either direction.
Traffic will be detoured via the following the two routes:
- Local traffic: Featherbed Lane, Route 234 and Route 29 back to Featherbed Lane.
- Through traffic: Route 29, Pageland Lane and Route 234 back to Featherbed Lane.
