Overnight Closure of Ramp from Route 28 North to Braddock Road/Walney Road Planned for Next Week, December 14-18
FAIRFAX – The ramp from northbound Route 28 to the new Braddock Road/Walney Road overpass will be closed nightly Monday, December 14, through Friday, December 18, between midnight and 4 a.m. for barrier removal. Traffic will be directed to continue farther north to exit to Westfields Boulevard. To reach Braddock Road, travel west on Westfields Boulevard. To reach Walney Road, travel east on Westfields Boulevard then turn right on Walney Road. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
Message boards on Route 28 are providing advance notice of the ramp closure.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
