I-66 West Manassas Safety Rest Area Truck Parking Lot Closed During Overnight Hours on Friday, July 17
Available truck parking spaces will be limited during overnight hours on Thursday, July 16
FAIRFAX – Paving work for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project will limit the available truck parking at the Manassas Safety Rest Area West on I-66 West (mm 48) later this week. On Thursday night, July 16, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., parking for trucks, trailers, and other multi-axle vehicles will be limited to the left side of the truck parking lot. On Friday night, July 17, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the trucking parking lot will be closed. Trucks, trailers, and other multi-axle vehicles will not be permitted to park at the rest area during those hours.
The rest area will remain open to passenger and other two-axle vehicles.
All work is weather dependent, and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
