Extended Single-Lane Closure on Bull Run Drive over I-66 in Centreville for Bridge Inspection and Repair Work
UPDATE (8/27): The flagging operation on Bull Run Drive over I-66 is complete; Traffic will continue to run in a single lane with stop signs in place while bridge inspection and repair work continues.
FAIRFAX – Bull Run Drive over I-66 was reduced to a single travel lane earlier today, Wednesday, August 26, for bridge and safety inspection following identification of a damaged beam. Bull Run Drive northbound and southbound traffic will be flagged with alternating travel in a single lane over I-66 until a temporary traffic signal is put in place to direct traffic. This temporary traffic pattern, which does not affect I-66, will remain in place until necessary repairs are completed.
