Traffic Stoppages Planned on I-66 East and West Near Blake Lane During Overnight Hours Tuesday, Nov. 12
FAIRFAX – Traffic stoppages and lane closures are planned for I-66 East and West on Tuesday, Nov. 12, between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., so that Dominion Energy can perform utility work over the interstate at Blake Lane (just west of the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail Station). Both directions of traffic on I-66 will be stopped simultaneously for up to 20 minutes to accommodate this work, which is needed for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent. Should inclement conditions occur, work will be rescheduled for the night of Wednesday, Nov. 13, during the same hours.
