Ramp from Gallows Road South to I-495 South Scheduled to Close During Overnight Hours Friday, Dec. 6
FAIRFAX - The ramp from southbound Gallows Road to I-495 South is scheduled to close temporarily on Friday, Dec. 6, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed to continue south on Gallows Road, stay to the left, make a U-turn under police direction at the traffic signal at the ramp to I-495 North, then stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 South.
The closure is needed for utility crews to perform a waterline relocation as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
