Overnight Ramp Closures on I-66 Next Week at Route 50 and 123 Interchanges
UPDATE: Work for Thursday, March 28, has been cancelled.
FAIRFAX, Va. – Closures are scheduled to occur during overnight hours on Sunday, March 24, and Thursday, March 28, on the ramp from Route 50 West to I-66 West, and on Friday, March 29, on the ramp from Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) South to I-66 West. Closures are needed for construction activities for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. Details include:
Sunday, March 24, and Thursday, March 28: Ramp from Route 50 West to I-66 West
- The ramp from Route 50 West to I-66 West will be closed during the overnight hours of Sunday, March 24, and Thursday, March 28, between midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured farther west to Route 608 (West Ox Road) South, then directed to stay to the right for Route 50 East, then follow signs to I-66 West.
Friday, March 29: Ramp from Route 123 South to I-66 West
- The ramp from Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) South to I-66 West will be closed during the overnight hours of Friday, March 29, from midnight to 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured farther south to the I-66 East ramp, stay to the right for Route 123 North, and then follow signs to I-66 West.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
