FAIRFAX, Va. - Ramp closures are scheduled during the overnight hours Tuesday, May 28, through Thursday, May 30, on the ramp from southbound Route 123 to eastbound I-66. The ramp from eastbound I-66 to southbound Route 123 will be closed the night of Friday, May 31. Closures are needed for construction activities for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. 

Details include: 

Ramp from Route 123 South to I-66 East

• The ramp from southbound Route 123 to eastbound I-66 will be closed during the overnight hours of Tuesday, May 28, Wednesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 30, between midnight and 4 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to I-66 West, follow signs to Route 50 East, then take the left exit to I-66 East.

Ramp from I-66 East to Route 123 South

• The ramp from eastbound I-66 to southbound Route 123 will be closed during the overnight hours of Friday, May 31, from midnight to 4 a.m. Drivers will be detoured farther east to Route 243 (Nutley Street) North, stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 West, then take the exit for Route 123 South.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
