Flagging on Evergreen Mills Road and Watson Road in Loudoun June 24-July 12
One lane of alternating traffic weekdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
LEESBURG – Evergreen Mills Road (Route 621) from just north of Watson Road (Route 860) to just south of Watson Road, as well as Watson Road approaching Evergreen Mills Road will have a weekday flagging operation Monday, June 24 through Friday, July 12 to install sensors and dynamic flashing lights as part of ongoing safety improvements at the intersection, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
There will be one lane of alternating traffic via the flagging on Evergreen Mills and Watson roads Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28; Monday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 2; and Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.
Drivers can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
Also, the temporary static sign flashers along eastbound Watson Road will be upgraded.
