Delafield Place Closure in Hybla Valley Begins Aug 26
Update: Closure due to culvert replacement has been extended through Sept. 13, detour still in place
Update: The closure has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13.
HYBLA VALLEY – Delafield Place between Brentwood Place and Boswell Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 for culvert replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach residences within the closure area, including emergency vehicles and school buses, will have access to Delafield Place; however, they will not be able to go beyond the point of culvert replacement in either direction.
Through traffic will be detoured via Boswell Avenue, Frances Drive and Brentwood Place back to Delafield Place.
