Lane closed on US 58 bridge over Lawson Creek
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Due to a recent vehicle strike the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) closed one eastbound lane of the US 58 Bridge over Lawson Creek in Halifax County.
Inspectors with VDOT”s Lynchburg District Structure and Bridge team determined that the lane needed to be shut down until repairs could be made. Repair plans are being developed and no completion date has been determined.
No details of the vehicle strike are available.
