DELAYS, ROAD CLOSURES POSSIBLE DURING LIBERTY UNIVERSITY GRADUATION
LYNCHBURG – Motorists are likely to encounter increased delays and possible road/lane closures on US 29/460 and surrounding roadways near Liberty University on Saturday, May 11 as the result of events at the school in Lynchburg.
Arrivals will begin early Saturday morning and last until late afternoon. Motorists should be prepared to avoid the area near the campus; alternate routes are available.
Virginia State Police (VSP) will assist with traffic control. Message boards and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to changes in traffic pattern, including any detours.
