PUBLIC INVITED TO "PARDON OUR DUST" MEETING FOR LASKIN ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
The meeting will take place Thursday, Oct. 10, 4-6 p.m.
VIRGINIA BEACH – With construction underway on the Laskin Road (Route 58) Bridge Replacement & Widening Project, the Virginia Department of Transportation invites the public to see a preliminary construction schedule and learn about anticipated traffic impacts at a "Pardon our Dust" meeting as follows.
Pardon our Dust meeting:
Thursday, October 10, 2019, 4-6 p.m.
Linkhorn Park Elementary School
977 First Colonial Road
Virginia Beach, VA 23454
The meeting will also provide citizens an opportunity to informally review planned improvements for Laskin Road between Republic Road and Red Robin Road, including the removal of service or "feeder" roads, replacement of the Linkhorn Bay Bridge and improvements to the Laskin Road/First Colonial Road intersection.
The meeting will be held in an open-house style format with no formal presentation given.
Interested citizens who cannot attend the meeting are encouraged to sign up for project updates by visiting LaskinRoadImprovements.org.
