CITIZEN INFORMATION MEETINGS TO BE HELD FOR ROUTE 58 ARTERIAL MANAGEMENT STUDY
Public invited to learn more about potential investments along the Route 58 Corridor

SUFFOLK – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold three Citizen Information Meetings on March 18, 20 and 21 to present and receive feedback on potential investment options that will help preserve and enhance more than 70 miles of the Route 58 corridor in Greensville County, Southampton County, the City of Franklin, the City of Emporia, and the City of Suffolk.

The purpose of the meetings is to give citizens an opportunity to learn more about the study, learn more about the concept of arterial management, meet with VDOT representatives, and provide input. This meeting will be held in an open-house format and will include a formal presentation. Members of the media are invited to attend.

Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by April 3, 2019 to Mr. Jerry Pauley, VDOT Project Manager, 7511 Burbage Drive, Suffolk, VA 23435 or via email to Jerry.Pauley@VDOT.Virginia.gov. Please reference “Route 58 Arterial Study” in the subject line of any e-mail correspondence.

*Please note: The March 21 meeting in Suffolk will be held at a different time than the other meetings.
