ROUTE 3 CLOSED IN STAFFORD
All lanes are closed near the Forest Lane Road intersection for downed utility lines, which were knocked down in a vehicle crash
UPDATE (11:35 a.m.) -- Westbound and eastbound Route 3 in Stafford County have reopened near the Forest Lane Road intersection. The detour has been removed. A single lane closure on Route 3 eastbound remains in place as crews continue utility repair work in this area.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 3 is closed in Stafford County near the Forest Lane Road intersection for downed utility lines, which were knocked down in a vehicle crash.
Route 3 traffic is traveling on Caisson Road and Forest Lane Road to detour around the road closure. Motorists should allow extra travel time. VDOT crews are on scene to assist with traffic control.
