LAFAYETTE BOULEVARD AND HARRISON ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT COMPLETE
Construction to expand turn lane capacity finished ahead of schedule
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) recently completed construction to improve the Lafayette Boulevard and Harrison Road intersection in Spotsylvania County.
The project to expand turn lane capacity to reduce delays at the intersection finished ahead of schedule.
The $1.2 million SMART SCALE project extended the southbound right turn lane on Lafayette Boulevard from Harrison Road to Lee Street to reduce congestion for southbound traffic turning onto Harrison Road.
The project contractor was A & M Concrete Corporation out of Dulles.
