I-95 SOUTHBOUND CLOSED IN STAFFORD COUNTY
Traffic detours to Hospital Center Boulevard and then Route 1 southbound at exit 140 (Courthouse Road) due to crash

UPDATE (4:10 a.m.) -- All lanes of Interstate 95 southbound are now open at exit 140 (Courthouse Road) in Stafford County. The detour to Route 1 has been lifted.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Interstate 95 southbound is closed for a crash involving multiple trucks just south of exit 140 (Courthouse Road) in Stafford County.

All southbound traffic is detoured at exit 140 (Courthouse Road) to Hospital Center Boulevard and then onto Route 1 southbound.

Southbound interstate traffic can travel on Route 1 southbound to Centreport Parkway, where they can re-enter I-95 southbound at exit 136.
