I-95 SOUTHBOUND CLOSED IN SPOTSYLVANIA
All southbound lanes are closed south of exit 126 (Spotsylvania) for an overturned recreational vehicle at mile marker 122
UPDATE 6:40 p.m. -- All Interstate 95 southbound lanes have reopened at mile marker 122 in Spotsylvania County. An overturned recreational vehicle has been cleared from the southbound travel lanes. Watch for crews continuing to work on the interstate shoulder. Expect residual I-95 southbound delays as congestion starting near exit 130 (Route 3) clears the area.
UPDATE 5:55 p.m. -- A single lane of I-95 southbound has reopened at mile marker 122 in Spotsylvania County, at the scene of an overturned recreational vehicle. Two southbound lanes remain closed.
Traffic signal timings are being adjusted for Route 1 southbound to accommodate additional demand between exit 126 (Spotsylvania) and exit 118 (Thornburg).
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Interstate 95 southbound is closed for an overturned recreational vehicle at mile marker 122 in Spotsylvania County, south of exit 126 (Spotsylvania).
Route 1 southbound is an alternate route for I-95 motorists traveling south between exit 126 and exit 118 (Thornburg).
