FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Travelers can expect overnight delays crossing the Downing Bridge in the Tappahannock area next week, starting Sunday, Sept. 11 through early Friday, Sept. 16 for a routine, scheduled inspection of the structure.

On these evenings, Route 360 will be reduced to a single travel lane, with one-way, alternating traffic, between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The Downing Bridge carries Route 360 over the Rappahannock River between Richmond and Essex counties.
