EXPECT DELAYS ON NORRIS BRIDGE WEDNESDAY, MAY 11-THURSDAY, MAY 12
Route 3 traffic over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties will be directed in a one-way, alternating pattern from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Motorists will encounter brief delays on Route 3 over the Rappahannock River on the Robert O. Norris Bridge on Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12.
Crews will be finishing the final two days of a routine, scheduled annual bridge inspection on Norris Bridge. The lane closure will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. both days, weather permitting.
Route 3 traffic will be directed to pass through the work zone on the bridge in a one-way, alternating pattern. Automated flagging assistance devices will direct traffic, with support from a flagging crew.
