EXPECT DELAYS AT NORRIS BRIDGE JUNE 21-23
Motorists will encounter one-way, alternating traffic on Rt. 3 between Lancaster and Middlesex counties from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. next Tuesday-Thursday
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 3 motorists will encounter daytime delays on the Robert O. Norris Bridge on Tuesday, June 21, through Thursday, June 23, for routine bridge maintenance.
Route 3 will be reduced to a single lane on the bridge. Traffic will be directed to pass through the work zone in a one-way, alternating pattern. Automated flagging assistance devices will direct traffic, with support from a flagging crew.
The Norris Bridge carries Route 3 traffic over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties.
Real-time updates on this work zone and lane closures will be available on 511Virginia, along with traffic camera views of the Norris Bridge.
