I-95 NORTHBOUND NOW OPEN IN SPOTSYLVANIA
Two northbound travel lanes have reopened at mile marker 125, near exit 126 (Spotsylvania), at the scene of a truck crash and fire
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Two lanes of Interstate 95 northbound have reopened in Spotsylvania County near exit 126 (Spotsylvania) following a truck crash and fire that had closed all northbound lanes since the afternoon.
The detour at exit 118 (Thornburg) has been lifted.
A single, right lane of I-95 northbound remains closed at mile marker 125 as crews finish clearing the incident scene.
Motorists can expect brief delays as approximately four miles of congestion approaching exit 118 dissipates.
Check 511Virginia for real-time updates on the remaining northbound lane closure for this incident. Download the free mobile 511Virginia app for Apple and Android devices to stay connected. Motorists also can reach 511Virginia by calling 511 from any phone in Virginia.
