EXPECT DELAYS ON ROUTE 3 IN THE FERRY FARM AREA
Motorists can expect brief delays on Route 3 eastbound and westbound in Stafford County, just east of Washington Square Plaza, on Jan. 7-8 and Jan. 11-15
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Motorists can expect brief travel delays on Route 3 eastbound and westbound in Stafford County’s Ferry Farm area for emergency utility work on Thursday, Jan. 7 – Friday, Jan. 8, and on Monday, Jan. 11 – Friday, Jan. 15.
Route 3 eastbound and westbound will be reduced to a single lane in each direction near Rumford Road, which is just east of the Washington Square Plaza shopping center.
Weather permitting, lane closures are scheduled to occur from 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7 through 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8. Additional single lane closures are scheduled next week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily on Monday, Jan. 11 through Friday, Jan. 15.
Crews for Stafford County’s Department of Public Works will be performing emergency utility work under permit.
