DOWNING BRIDGE CLOSED IN TAPPAHANNOCK AREA
All lanes of Route 360 are closed over the Rappahannock River between Richmond and Essex counties for a multi-vehicle crash
UPDATE: All lanes of Route 360 have reopened at the Downing Bridge over the Rappahannock River between Essex and Richmond counties. An earlier multi-vehicle crash has been cleared.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Downing Bridge is closed in the Tappahannock area due to a multi-vehicle crash that occurred earlier this evening at the bridge.
All lanes of Route 360 are closed over the Rappahannock River between Richmond and Essex counties.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes. No reopening time is immediately available.
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are traveling to the crash scene to assist with traffic control.
