EXPECT I-95 DAYTIME DELAYS IN CAROLINE ON SATURDAY, SUNDAY
Crews will be inspecting I-95 northbound and southbound overpasses of CSX railroad tracks at mile marker 103, just south of Exit 104 (Carmel Church)

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Daytime travel delays on Interstate 95 are possible in Caroline County this Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23 for a routine bridge inspection of the I-95 northbound and southbound overpasses spanning CSX railroad tracks, located just south of Exit 104 (Route 207/Carmel Church).

I-95 lane closures have been scheduled at the following dates and times:

Saturday, Feb. 22

I-95 Southbound

  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Single lane closure on I-95 southbound at mile marker 103

Sunday, Feb. 23

I-95 Northbound

  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Single lane closure on I-95 northbound at mile marker 103

Work must be performed during weekend hours due to the availability of a certified railroad flagging crew.
