REMINDER: ROUTE 17 SOUTHBOUND RAMP CLOSED OVERNIGHT THURSDAY, SEPT. 26
Crews will be placing barrier along the ramp from Route 17 southbound to Interstate 95 southbound in preparation for expanding ramp as part of the I-95 Southbound Rappahannock River Crossing project
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Route 17 southbound on-ramp to Interstate 95 southbound at Exit 133 in Stafford County will be closed overnight on Thursday, Sept. 26, to allow crews to install barrier along the ramp and interstate shoulder.
Tonight, the on-ramp and all lanes of I-95 southbound will remain open at Exit 133 (Route 17).
On Thursday evening, I-95 southbound travelers can also expect a single lane closure from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. near Exit 133.

I-95 Southbound at Exit 136/Centreport Parkway
Drivers are reminded the I-95 southbound on-ramp and off-ramp at Exit 136/Centreport Parkway in Stafford will also be closed tonight, Thursday and Friday evenings this week for paving. These ramps will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. I-95 southbound travelers can expect double lane closures near Exit 136 for paving on the following schedule:
- 9 p.m.– Single lane closes
- 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.– Two lanes closed
- 4:30 a.m. – All lanes and ramps open
