Temporary closure of Ready Mix Road over Interstate 81 Exit 77 requiring 24-hour closure in June
Bridge closure will be in place from 9 a.m. Monday, June 6 until 9 a.m. June 7
BRISTOL – Due to efforts to repair the deck of the Ready Mix Road bridge over I-81 at exit 77 in Wythe County, the bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday, June 6 until 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 (weather permitting).
Because the needed repairs are located in the center of the bridge, the closure of the bridge is necessary to ensure safety of workers at this busy location.
The interstate ramps will not be affected, only the bridge over I-81. Use caution in this area and pay close attention to signs and message boards.
