BRISTOL – Due to emergency repairs, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the Route 601 (Ruby’s Road) bridge over Little Walker Creek in Bland County this afternoon (Tuesday, June 2).

The bridge is located 3.85 miles from Route 603 and 6.2 miles from Route 600.

Weather permitting, the bridge is scheduled to reopen Monday (June 8).   (END)
